It’s my great pleasure to welcome all my old friends and new friends to 7th Left Main & Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS2014). There is an old Chinese saying that friends from far away always bring you happiness. In recent years, contribution was made by CBS in enhancing the cooperation and communication between doctors home and abroad, improving the treatment of left main and coronary bifurcation disease. This year, we are meeting together again, with a humble heart, trying to learn more, which will definitely give CBS new ideas and energy.

With your support and help, Left Main & Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS) has become a platform for cardiac interventionists to communicate and improve themselves. Focusing on the latest basic research and clinical trials, CBS tries to bring out new research idea, to organize case discussion, and to help the international cooperation and guideline revise. This year, more experts from home and abroad were invited to CBS2014; more interaction sections were put in to CBS2014. The discussion will cover some hot topics such as “Definition of simple and complex bifurcation”, “Utilization of bifurcation stenting techniques”, “Utilization and significance of intro-coronary image techniques for the treatment of bifurcation stenting”, “Evidences from bench test to clinical decision” and “Mechanism and significance of hemodynamic shear stress in coronary bifurcation lesion”. Hope CBS2014 will benefit our daily clinical work and research.
